Soooo, here it is, a new year (which unfortunately meant another birthday) and a renewed interest in sewing. I thought maybe if I started this new blog and tried to get projects published on it regularly it just might keep me motivated to finish things.
The renewed interest all started last year when I decided to take a Jill Maas Doll Making course....I hadnt sewn more than a hem for about 10 years and I decided to launch headfirst into something more than a little artistic!! Her name was Fishy Flossie...and she's not too bad for a first attempt.
This led on to 2 more of Jill's courses - which are sooooo much fun (see her website for more info). 2nd doll was Fleur - she was supposed to be a Street Urchin type, but my Fleur looks more like Esmeralda from the Hunch Back of Notre Dame I think!!
Next time I will show you doll #3 - Snowdrop - she's my favourite so far, and some of the wonderful Christmas presents I made for friends & family.
